About Mobile Exposure
Mobile Exposure premiered in 2004 as one of the world's first mobile media festivals; it is now the longest consecutively running mobile festival. Mobile Exposure highlights the use of mobile devices as an emergent medium of expression. The festival captures the creation of art by mobile technology and showcases our increasing dependence on mobile devices as entertainment. True to the itinerant nature of the mobile user this festival is designed to be screened at multiple locations instead of being geographically restrained. Over the past two years, the festival has been screened at microcinemas and film festivals worldwide. Many of the films and filmmakers involved in the first two years of Mobile Exposure have gone on to win international film festival accolades.
